Educational psychology has demonstrated that taking your own notes is important in the learning process. If something is wriiten down, it has to be processed in the mind, further reinforcing learning. Also, written notes are in your own thinking style, and are your record for review and further learning. This will enhance making the learning your own, that you will take with you and continue developing in life.

I am making the notes that I use to teach Applied Social Change as another resource for you. However, you are expected to make you own notes in class. My notes are only in outline form, and are useful for two purposes:
